Typical hours will be Monday through Friday; hours will vary according to Food Services Supervisor's availability. Responsibilities may include: 1) complete assessments of dietary needs and nutritional intakes, 2) research the possibility of and mechanisms needed for institutional purchasing, 3) develop workshop(s) for in-service credit, 4) apply knowledge and skills to an on-site food and nutrition work experience, 5) develop communication, interpersonal and professional skills in an employer - employee setting, 6) apply educational techniques, methods, and materials to realistic situations, and 7) socialize with dietitian.
