The Sip City Social is a lively tasting event welcoming up to 1,500 guests for an afternoon of unlimited samples of craft beer, wine, seltzers, dirty sodas, and non-alcoholic beverages, plus live entertainment and interactive games. Volunteers will help run games, assist with beverage pouring, and support overall event flow to ensure a fun and safe experience for all guests. Volunteers can attend the event free of charge before or after their shift. While attending, please remember that you are representing United Way. We ask all volunteers to enjoy the event responsibly.
All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older due to the nature of the event.
All volunteers will participate in a brief training covering proper alcohol pouring techniques and responsible service, including how to recognize and prevent overserving, at the beginning of their shift.
Attire: White LIVE UNITED shirt, work pants or jeans, and comfortable shoes.
If you do not already have a white LIVE UNITED shirt from Greater Mankato Area United Way, please contact Mollie at mollief@mankatounitedway.org with your shirt size.
Shifts: 1:30 - 4 pm & 3:30 - 6:30 pm

Food will be available for purchase at the event.
Volunteers can NOT consume alcohol while volunteering.
