Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) offers people 55+ years of age the opportunity to connect with children in the area schools offering them a connection to another generation's perspective. These include intellectual simulation, development of self-esteem, enjoyment of relationships, feelings of purposefulness and maintaining a link between the past and the future.
An age integrated community leads to a healthy community as the strengths of one generation strengthens another. Volunteering through RSVP offers mileage reimbursement and supplemental insurance coverage.
