Key City Bike aims to:
¨ Educate community members about cycling and bike mechanics.
¨ Provide a safe and positive workspace for anyone to fix their bicycle.
¨ Reduce environmental impact by up-cycling and recycling donated bicycles and parts.
¨ Expand bike culture.
Volunteers needed for general volunteer work. Tasks a general volunteer may preform are:
- sorting parts that look similar
- matching mismatched parts like pedals
- airing up tubes for testing
- taking apart bikes that are not going to be fixed
- fixing bikes
- cleaning and organizing the building
We can always find something for a person to do. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
No experience necessary, we will train you if needed.
Please wear close toe shoes.
Current Hours are as follows:
Tuesday 3-8pm
Wednesday 3-8pm
Thursday 12-5pm
5 minutes or 5 hours we appreciate any time folks can afford to volunteer.
