We are in need of volunteers to help manage the gates for a women's professional fastpitch series we are hosting June 19th - 23rd at Caswell Park in North Mankato. This event features two National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) teams the Chicago Bandits vs. Beijing Eagles who are a Chinese National team working towards the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
We will train volunteers how to check our guests into the event with smart phones, and how to help walk up traffic purchase a tickets for the event. Each fastpitch game is roughly 2 hours in length, but we will need our volunteers to arrive 1.5 hours early to be ready for when we open the gates. We will stop taking tickets at the gates around the 4th or 5th inning depending upon the activity at the gates. Total time will vary depending upon the speed of the game, but not expected to be longer than 3 hours total volunteer time per gate shift.
