Greater Mankato Area United Way

Who We Are

Greater Mankato Area United Way's mission is to unite the community to secure and invest resources to improve people's lives. Since 1931, our organization has worked to support individuals of all ages, putting them on the path to success and self-sufficiency.

What We Do

Each year, Greater Mankato Area United Way programs and initiatives serve more than 65,000 people in Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties through basic needs, health and education. Teams of community volunteers vet all programs receiving local funding to ensure donor dollars are having the most impact. In addition to our annual fundraising campaign, we convene and connect the community around urgent issues, such as literacy, youth mental health & suicide prevention, substance use disorder advocacy and more.
