Who We Are
Make a big difference in the lives of Minnesota State University Mankato international students by joining the Friendship Family Program. Friendship families and students usually meet a couple of times per semester depending on the family and student’s schedule. Share a meal, have coffee, take a walk. This program is a great opportunity to learn about cultures from around the world, expand your horizons, and make new friends.
What We Do
Mission:
The Friendship Family Program provides support and opportunities designed to assist international students during their adjustment period by connecting them with Friendship Family volunteers in the community.
Goals:
Allow International students to develop off-campus friendships.
Experience the “American way of life” within homes, families, & the community.F
Share cultures and traditions between families and students.
Develop lifelong relationships across the globe.
