Purpose: Our purpose at Let's Smile is to be more than just a dental clinic; we strive to be a positive influence in the lives of the children and teens we serve. Beyond addressing immediate oral health needs, our purpose is to empower these individuals by instilling a sense of ownership and understanding about their oral health. We aim to be a trusted partner in their journey towards overall well-being. Core Beliefs: Let’s Smile, Inc. firmly believes in the power of early intervention, recognizing that establishing healthy behaviors during childhood is not only easier but more effective than attempting to change unhealthy habits during adulthood. Let’s Smile, Inc.’s services align with the Minnesota Child and Teen Checkup standards. Let's Smile, Inc. increases access to clinical preventive dental professional services to children & adolescents with State Insurance: Minnesota Health Care Plans (MHCP) such as MA, South Country Health Alliance, Blue Plus, UCare, or uninsured. If a patient is covered by private dental insurance or additional/supplemental health insurance plans, we request they use another office.

What We Do

Let’s Smile, Inc. aligns with the Minnesota Child and Teen Dental Checkup Standards and the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT). We are committed to promoting optimal oral health among low-income children and teens through a range of preventive and restorative measures. 1. Oral Evaluations and Assessments: • Conducting a thorough examination of oral health. • Assessment of dental concerns and conditions. • Utilization of X-rays and intra-oral pictures for diagnostic purposes. • Detection of infections in gum tissues. • Oral cancer screening. • Retention checks for sealants. 2. Preventive Procedures: • Dental Prophylaxis: Removal of oral plaque, calculus, stains, and bacteria that cause cavities and infections. • Fluoride Varnish Treatment: Strengthening enamel to prevent cavities. • Sealants: non-invasive preventive procedure forming a protective barrier that reduces food entrapment and bacterial growth to permanent molars to prevent cavities. • Silver Diamide Fluoride (SDF) as a non-invasive treatment to stop active decay by inhibiting bacterial/biofilm growth and supporting remineralization. 3. Oral Health Education: • Providing valuable information to promote awareness and understanding of oral health practices. 4. Follow-Up Dental Restorative Treatments: • Non-surgical extractions for baby teeth with severe decay, blocking the eruption of a permanent tooth, causing pain or discomfort, infected or abscessed, damaged due to trauma, preventing proper alignment of permanent teeth, or interfering with orthodontic treatment. • Fillings to remove dental cavities and restore the affected teeth, preventing further decay and structural damage. • Stainless steel crowns on baby teeth to provide durable and long-lasting protection for severely decayed or weakened teeth, preventing further damage, restoring proper tooth function, and maintaining space for the eruption of permanent teeth. • Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as needed for patient comfort during dental procedures. 5. Communication and Follow-Up: • Regular communication and follow-up with schools and parents/guardians to ensure continuity of care for children.
