This year LEEP and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon are partnering up to host the annual Mankato Chilifest event. If you haven't been to Chilifest in the past years, it is a chili cook-off competition that helps raise money to assist Veterans and current military members. 

Because LEEP and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon are partnering this year, we have the ability to make it bigger and better than previous years. We are planning to have the tradition Chili cook-off and bean bag tournament, but we are also making sure that this is a military appreciation event and are allowing all former and current military members to get in for free. We will also be hosting a silent auction and raffle.

With an event this big and a cause this important, we are looking for 48 volunteers to help with the event on Friday, November 18 and Saturday November 19, 2016 in order to raise money to make a difference in the lives of military members and individuals with disabilities in our community. 

When: Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19, 2016

Times: 6:30pm- 9pm and 8:30am-12pm, 12pm-4pm
