Description

Volunteers will work alongside Great River Greening staff to plant native wildflowers and milkweed seeds to provide habitat to support pollinator activity and restore native prairie. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the ecological properties of the Redwood Falls area on a crisp autumn morning.  

Great River Greening looks forward hosting to more volunteer events in Redwood Falls in Spring of 2023 -- Stay tuned!

This is a family-friendly event. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary, we will provide the tools and training required.

We will have light snacks and extra water available, however, please bring your own reusable water bottle and any additional snacks or lunch items you may need.
