Thank you for joining Great River Greening in this important work at Medford Wildlife Management Area. This seeding event will make a significant contribution to ongoing efforts in prairie restoration, woodland enhancement, and the removal of invasive trees along the Straight River. These well-drained, fertile soils provide an ideal habitat for local turtle populations. Volunteers will gain valuable insights into prairie ecosystems, restoration efforts, and the diverse wildlife that call these areas home. Your involvement ensures the success of this vital work, and we truly appreciate your dedication to preserving and protecting these beautiful landscapes.
