2026.05.09 Garlic Mustard Removal at Nerstrand Big Woods State Park| Nerstrand

Join Great River Greening at Nerstrand Big Woods State Park! This park is famous for its beautiful “Big Woods” forest and is home to the federally endangered Dwarf Trout Lily: one of the few places in Minnesota where this rare plant still survives. Volunteers will help remove invasive Garlic Mustard as part of our ongoing efforts to protect and restore the critical habitat this fragile species depends on.
