The City of Mankato is supporting Earth Week again this year! Gather your family, friends and co-workers to volunteer in Mankato parks, trails and stormwater ponds. Volunteers will help to pickup trash and refuse that has gathered over the winter to keep these items out of our waterways and ensure our greenspaces are looking beautiful as we get closer to spring.
Gather your group and signup to help between April 16 – 22. City staff will provide needed equipment (gloves, safety vests, trash bags, etc.) and a map showing safe entrance and where to leave trash to be collected later by City staff.
- Sign up your group by completing the sign up form.
- City staff will connect with you to find a location in Mankato that best matches your group size and preferences. Your group will be able to choose when they volunteer during Earth Week.
- Group registration deadline is Sunday, April 13.
- If you miss the group deadline, you may register for the Rasmussen Woods Volunteering Day on April 19.
