Who We Are

MNRAAA provides high quality, comprehensive and objective assistance to older adults, caregivers, service providers and others in navigating the long-term care system, understanding the full range of service options and accessing health and long-term care benefits. 

Trained Senior LinkAge Line  volunteers will help with:

  • Function as an ambassador for the Senior LinkAge Line
  • Offer non-biased information and education
  • Provide education on Medicare, fraud, and home and community-based services
  • Advocate for older adults and caregivers
  • Assist in completing forms
  • Provide Medicare counseling

What We Do

The Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging®(MNRAAA) provides advocacy, information, resources and assistance so that older adults can maintain the lifestyle of their choice.

The Senior LinkAge Line® is a free statewide service of the Minnesota Board on Aging and Area Agencies on Aging. The Senior LinkAge Line is the federally-designated State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for Minnesota and is the place to call for Medicare and health insurance issues.
