Greater Mankato Area United Way

Who We Are

WE ARE LOCAL.

Our work supports over 60 programs across Blue Earth, Nicollet and Le Sueur Counties, helping our region’s most vulnerable people.

WE ARE COMPREHENSIVE.

Our panoramic view of the community helps us identify gaps and invest your dollars where they are needed most. We create innovative, research-driven solutions on multiple fronts, so people in need have the best chance of success.

WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE.

Nearly 90 cents of every dollar donated is invested in direct services. Our programs are fiscally responsible and get measurable results. We’ve earned the Charities Review Council’s "Meets All Standards" seal and Charity Navigator’s Four Star seal.

WE ARE CONNECTED.

United Way tackles complex programs with dozens of community partners - from businesses, to nonprofits, to schools, to government.

WE ARE POWERFUL.

Our programs help people in crisis get back on their feet, help prevent future problems and build a stronger community for all of us. We leverage your gift’s power through smart investments, impacting 1 in 3 people who are directly served by a United Way funded program.
